Birgit Gebhardt | trend expert
Birgit Gebhardt synthesizes trend developments into plausible
visions of the future. Since 2013, she has advised companies
such as Audi, BMW, Ernsting's Family, Jochen Schweizer
Holding, Lufthansa Group, Recaro, Swisscom Immobilien, and UBS
on digital transformation opportunities and evolving
expectations from employees, target groups, and society.
In parallel, she researches new models of interconnected
business and work, detailing these opportunities in her New
Work Order studies (www.New-Work-Order.net). Her research
focuses on integrating previously separate domains such as
artificial and natural intelligence, living and working,
commerce and culture, and learning and entertainment. Among
her clients is the Industrial Association for Office and Work
Environment (IBA e.V.), for which she also conducts research
trips to pioneers in Silicon Valley, Scandinavia, and China.
Her cross-industry consulting and customer-oriented future
perspectives make her a valued source of inspiration for
leadership circles and public events. In 2011, she authored
"2037 – Our Everyday Life in the Future" for the Edition
Körber Foundation, leading to engagements that resulted in her
self-employment in 2013. In 2021, her future-oriented book
"Future Pics" was published by Gabal-Verlag.
Birgit’s background includes a diploma in interior
architecture, five years as a specialist editor, seven years
in project management at Trendbüro, and five years as managing
director of the consultancy for societal change. She continues
to expand her perspectives as the deputy chairwoman of the
scientific advisory board of the Liechtenstein Foundation
Zukunft.li and through her participation in the research
committee of the Munich Circle.
